“Therefore, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God.” 1 Corinthians 10:31
At our festival each year, we strive to create an environment that is welcoming to families, promotes learning, and above all, brings glory to God. We ask that you adhere to these guidelines while attending the festival in order that we may keep our focus on God’s providence, His-story, and enjoy the festival without unnecessary distraction.
The following guidelines apply specifically to costumes, which we encourage festival attendees to wear, but also generally to festival casual-wear.
GENTLEMEN: Collarbone to knees must be covered. No bare chests, or open/very loose shirts.
LADIES: Collarbone to knees must be covered. No cleavage, high slits, or leggings without tunic length shirts.
We understand that dressing with modesty may prove challenging at times, especially when trying to recreate a scene or time period when modesty was ill defined, or not held in respect.
But we thank you in advance for putting Christ first, and showing love to your brothers and sisters in this way.
